La Leche League was founded to provide information, education and encouragement, mainly through one-to-one helping, to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies.  La Leche League of Corpus Christi offers free help with all aspects of breastfeeding, Call our 24-Hour Hotline or attend an LLL meeting for Mother-to-Mother support.  Breastfeeding library also available. Services are provided to military service members, active and retired and their dependents and include: connection to community referrals,  specializing in lactation consulting and breastfeeding education.  All of which can be done as a hospital visit, a home visit and/or a phone consult (before and after baby comes) for as long as you need support.  Hospital-grade breast pumps are available for loan on an assessment/need basis.
